2. It reports over cellular

The monitor streams readings on its own cellular connection, included for the life of the monitor. No Wi-Fi, no homeowner network, no app to keep logged in.

3. You get alerted, not surprised

Vetralis continuously computes subcooling and superheat, and alerts you when the system moves outside its normal operating range — by text, email and app.

The things people ask before they buy

Do I need Wi-Fi?

No. The monitor has its own cellular connection built in, included for the life of the unit. It never touches your home network and there is no password to give anyone.

Are there monthly fees, and is tax included?

No monthly fees. You buy the hardware once and connectivity, monitoring and alerts are included, so there is nothing to cancel and no bill that appears later. Sales tax is the one thing not in the listed price — it is calculated from your address and added at checkout.

How does installation work?

Installation is included for DFW orders, and we call within one business day to schedule it. Outside DFW, professional installation is not included; you may install the system yourself or hire a local technician, depending on your equipment, experience and applicable requirements.

Does this replace my annual maintenance?

No, and we would not sell it that way. Monitoring watches two refrigerant lines. It cannot inspect a heat exchanger, electrical connections, condensate drainage or airflow at the air handler, and those still need a person. What it changes is that your technician arrives already knowing what the system has been doing since the last visit.

What if it does not fit my system?

Vetralis works with most residential and light-commercial split systems and heat pumps; compatibility depends on accessible service ports, fitting match, pressure ranges suited to the refrigerant and available power. Check compatibility before installation. If you are unsure, contact us before ordering.

What happens when it finds something?

You get an alert by text, email and in the app, describing what moved out of range. You decide who services it - we do not route the work to anyone or take a cut. If you already have a company you trust, keep them.

No, and any product that says otherwise is overselling. It watches refrigerant pressure and line temperature on the outdoor unit and alerts when they drift outside the normal operating range. It has no view of your electrical system or your indoor equipment, and it is not a substitute for professional maintenance.
