Terms of Sale & Service

Last updated 29 July 2026

These terms apply when you buy a Vetralis monitoring system from Vetralis LLC, and the installation that comes with it. Please read them before you reserve. If anything here is unclear, call us on (940) 222-8333 before you order.

1. What Vetralis is

Vetralis is a monitoring and alerting product. A monitor is fitted to your outdoor condenser and reads refrigerant pressure and line temperature continuously, alerting you when those readings move outside the system's normal operating range.

Vetralis is not a substitute for professional maintenance or inspection, and it cannot detect every possible fault in an HVAC system. Vetralis does not guarantee that any particular failure will be detected or prevented. It watches two refrigerant lines; it cannot assess a heat exchanger, electrical connections, condensate drainage, or airflow at the air handler.

2. Ordering and payment

Ordering online pays for the equipment and the installation in full at the time of order. There is nothing further to pay at installation.

Prices shown include the equipment and professional installation, and exclude sales tax, which is calculated from your address and added at checkout. There are no monthly fees and no subscription of any kind. The price you agree at the time of order is the price you pay.

  • Paid in full at order, plus sales tax — nothing due at installation
  • Balance: due at installation
  • Installation: always included, never billed separately
  • Monthly fees: none, at any point

3. Pricing by area

Pricing depends on where the system is installed. In the Dallas–Fort Worth area we install on routed days, several systems in a neighbourhood at a time, and our pricing reflects that.

Outside the Dallas–Fort Worth area, standard pricing applies and installation is arranged individually. We will confirm scheduling with you after you reserve.

We may change our prices at any time. The price you agree at the time of order is the price you pay.

4. Installation

Installation is performed by a licensed technician. Connecting the pressure sensors opens the refrigerant circuit, which by law requires EPA Section 608 certification, and the monitor requires a proper power connection. Vetralis is not a DIY product and may not be installed by the equipment owner.

You are responsible for providing safe access to the outdoor unit on the agreed date, and for being authorised to have work done on the equipment. If you rent, or the equipment belongs to a landlord or association, get their permission before you reserve.

5. Compatibility

Vetralis is compatible with most residential and light-commercial split systems and heat pumps. Compatibility depends on accessible service ports, fitting match, pressure ranges suited to your refrigerant, and available power. We confirm compatibility before installing anything.

If we find your system is not compatible, we will not install, and you are refunded in full.

6. The monitoring commitment

Cellular connectivity, monitoring and alert delivery are included in the purchase price for the operational life of the monitor, with no monthly fee and nothing for you to cancel. Where we say "lifetime", we mean the working life of the monitor installed at your property — not the life of the building, the equipment it watches, or any person.

The commitment travels with the monitor, not with you. If the monitor is removed, replaced by a third party, or damaged beyond repair, the service for that unit ends with it.

We may change how the service works — the app, the alert formats, the thresholds — as the product improves. We will not reduce the core commitment: while your monitor is installed and functioning, it is monitored and you are alerted when readings move out of range.

If we become unable to provide the monitoring service, we will tell you as far in advance as we reasonably can, and refund a fair portion of the purchase price reflecting the service not delivered.

7. Warranty

Hardware is warranted against defects for one year from installation. The monitoring service is included for the operational life of the monitor. These are deliberately different periods, and the difference matters — full detail is on the warranty page. In short: the service lasts as long as the monitor does, but after the first year a hardware failure is repaired or replaced at your cost.

8. Cancellations and refunds

You may cancel any time before installation for a full refund. Once the system is installed, the sale is complete.

If we cannot install for any reason on our side — including incompatibility, scheduling, or licensing in your area — you get a full refund and owe nothing.

9. Alerts

Alerts are delivered by text, email and app. Delivery depends on cellular coverage at the equipment, and on networks and services we do not control. We cannot guarantee that any individual alert will be delivered, or delivered in time to prevent a failure.

Keep your contact details current. If we cannot reach you, we cannot alert you.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Vetralis is not liable for indirect or consequential loss — including lost product, lost business, or damage arising from an equipment failure that was not detected or not alerted in time.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. System data

Vetralis LLC owns the operational data collected from your equipment — pressure, temperature, runtime and status readings — together with any analysis derived from it. We use it to deliver the monitoring service, to support you, and to improve how the product detects faults.

We may also aggregate, license, share or sell that operational data. If you have asked a service company to follow your unit, they receive alerts about it as well.

Your personal contact details are used to deliver alerts and to support you. If you would prefer your personal information excluded from any sale or sharing of data, tell us at sales@vetralis.com or call (940) 222-8333 and we will honour that.

12. Governing law

These terms form an agreement between you and Vetralis LLC, and are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
